Jose Gallegos Though not my usual cup of tea, I really enjoyed this album. The tracks are upbeat and easy to listen to, and the production is really good and pleasing on the ears. Overall, for just $12 AUD (or just over $8 USD,) Patterns is well worth the price. Favorite track: Symptoms.

nachi50 It's got great energy throughout and flows very well into each track. Favorite track: Blackout (ft. Mark Lettieri).

Homeward 04:12
Return! Return me to the resilience that once resided in me I’m lost and wandering walking down this broken path. The life before me I wish that time would fall apart This can’t continue Stolen is the part of me That once kept faithful The ideal of my self belief. Chorus: When will I cease to cage the past in every dream. When will I rise to rest relieved from what I’ve paid. -- I’ve been searching through my memories They’re shattered to despondency I drown in indignation’s closure Fight to find my re-exposure My re-exposure I hope to find the road to solace The curse of chaos it has to end Lost in this labyrinth I’m searching for a way Condemned each day I rise I walk into the grey Chorus Return me home! When will I cease to cage the past in every dream - return me home. When will I rise to rest relieved from what I’ve paid - return me home. Return me home.

Wanderer 02:57
Reflections! Hold no amends Listen learn and understand A missed opportunity the noose dragging a line in the sand Just keep running, just keep on heading, deeper into the scenery. Just keep running, just keep on heading, further up farther in the fate of the future falls from unknown And I know that these are the days of our youth And I know that these are the nights we’ll all hold onto Reflections! I can’t see what could have been. Reflections hold no amends. And now I face reality, I’m brought to my knees. And I know that, those were the days of our youth. And I know that, I felt alive before I lost you. Chorus: Let’s get lost in the wilderness the wilderness of life Let’s get found in the beauty of the beauty of our minds. Take my hand, just you and me. We’ll set a course for discovery, in between, the horizon and the rising sea. -- And now you’re gone I feel an emptiness inside myself. All along you were in my heart. Chorus

Blackout! Feel the pressure rising from within. Breathe deep. Do whatever it takes to keep it in. My head! It’s all slipping, the cracks they start to show. Burn it. And watch my stomach choke the final flame. I watch in silence as I drift away. Now it’s too late, I’m lost to the void. Familiar faces fade and fall into noise The rotation of a cyclical maze I’m not a psychopath, just lost in the pain. I’m not crazy, I’m not insane. The devil’s got me and I can’t get away so Chorus: Tie me up in a silver chair. It’s a hurricane inside my head x2 -- Pull me back to reality. I can’t recall what I’ve done. Secrets buried, disguised, I know that There’s a key hidden in my mind, protected by, the will to survive. Chorus

Symptoms 03:56
Refrain: Take a look at me and tell me everything you see I am the bastard son The blight of misery -- I hate the fear of causing tragedy I can’t take What I’ve done It’s consuming me I found The failure In a fool’s serenity and I blame Myself for everything I’ll never be free from all of these symptoms I’ll never be free from Chorus: The things I’ve seen will they haunt me in my sleep The things I’ve done will I always bear their mark Could you ever put your trust in me Have you lost your faith in me The things I’ve seen will they haunt me in my sleep -- I am nothing but a hollow fragment of everything I once stood for Splintered! Into a thousand pieces The broken image my existence I’ll never be free from, all of the symptoms I’ll never be free from Chorus Refrain I need to catch myself Sabotaging everything Before it gets too close to me
5.
Illusion 04:26
I look behind The curtain of existence It’s more than meets the eye Eternity is not a destination It’s inside Question all that you know Everything you’re told Because you’re capable of more Pull back the veil! Your reach exceeds imagination’s gate You’re capable of more Explore the ancient wisdoms The timeless mysteries Step into future realities Look to the sky See the constellations shine It’s much more than meets the eye Yet there you sit Smug smile on your face like you know it all There’s just one thing I’ve gotta know Are you free? Chorus: Begin again, I feel the cold light washing over me I feel the air within each breath This isn’t magic, no illusion I’m holding seconds in my hands I’m free I am free from all life’s gravity And I’m free to comprehend You know we’re in this place together now And that’s all that really matters -- Stumble, trip and fall down this rabbit hole Take a second compose yourself Twisting and turning back and forth Open your minds eye and bid farewell We’re all born asleep We’re all born deceived The secrets of the universe are written on the back of your eyes Chorus We’re all born asleep, we’re all born deceived Open up your mind, take a trip with me You know we’re in this place together now And that’s all that really matters Are you free? Chorus x2

Oblivion 02:45
Chorus: My God, are you listening, are you even there? Do my prayers fall on deaf ears My God, am I doomed, am I cursed, have I sealed my fate? Will I wander this life endlessly -- Every day I wake, trapped in oblivion Another triumph over death itself Every day I wake, bound by the misery Today I cheat defeat, another victory I will rise above And I will find my way I will rise above And overcome my fate! Chorus Chorus

Memories 03:39
Like me, you’re beaten, bruised and broken or Like her pain sleeps beneath the surface Maybe you’re like all of us A little fragile all too human Maybe we can find a way forward together Look me in the eyes Tell me everything you’ve been through I wanna feel, I wanna know what life has done to you Take my hands, trace your scars On your arms or in your heart Chorus: So wave goodbye to the past You know by now it’s nothing but a memory And a bad one at that Nothing but a memory So wave goodbye to the past You’re here and now, you’ve only got one life to lead And it’s all looking up -- Wave goodbye to all the shit you’ve Put up with, all you’ve been through Hold on now, not too long You’re stronger than you think This is getting out This is breaking free From all the weight of it From being underneath I still can’t believe it This feels like a dream I’m rising up I’m breaking through This is my revive This is how it feels to be Alive! I’ll wave goodbye to the past Chorus So wave goodbye to the past, your problems and regrets Just wave goodbye to the past, and give yourself a chance This life can be cruel, this life can be strange I don’t know your story but I know you’ll make it through
